Human review before payout

Refunds are assessed by a person, not auto-approved by a billing rule. We review order state, service delivery stage, technical failures, and duplicate-charge evidence first.

Original payment method for cash refunds

Approved cash refunds are processed within 5-7 business days and returned to the original payment method.

Alternative solution before refund

Where appropriate, we first offer an alternative eligible grant or a dedicated research path. Refund processing continues if those alternatives are declined.

General Refund Policy

Grantaura offers different services with different delivery profiles. Refund decisions depend on the exact service, the work already completed, and whether the issue was a platform failure, operational failure, or a timing/input problem outside our control.

1. Submit the request

Send your order reference, service name, reason for the request, and any relevant timing context through our refund contact flow.

2. We verify the service stage

We check whether the order was pending, in preparation, submitted, duplicated, blocked by technical failure, or delayed because required information was not provided in time.

3. We issue the decision

You receive a clear outcome tied to the policy below: cash refund, service credit, corrected charge, or a no-refund explanation.

4. We close the loop

Approved cash refunds return to the original payment method. When another remedy fits better than a refund, we confirm that path with you before closing the case.

Assessment Submission Refunds

Assessment submissions are paid review work. The assessment fee ($5.99) is non-refundable once the assessment has been submitted and reviewed, unless a technical or Grantaura-side failure prevented proper delivery.

  • Technical failure preventing submission or processing: Full cash refund
  • Duplicate charge caused by system error: Full cash refund

1-Apply (GrantLaunch) Refund Policy

GrantLaunch is stage-based service work. Refund outcome depends on whether the project was still pending, actively being prepared, already reviewed, or already submitted to the funder.

Early cancellation

Within 24 hours of payment and before preparation begins, the order is fully refundable.

Late-stage work

Once a project reaches QA review or delivered materials are handed over for self-submission, cash refunds no longer apply.

Our operational failure

If Grantaura causes the failure through operational error, the policy allows a full cash refund even in otherwise restrictive states.

Alternative remedy path

When a cash refund is not the right outcome, Grantaura may offer a scoped rework, corrected delivery path, or another documented non-cash remedy that fits the project state.

Funding outcome boundary

GrantLaunch covers expert preparation and submission services. Funding decisions are made by the funder, so an unsuccessful decision is not by itself grounds for a refund.

Full Application Submission Refunds

This policy applies to Full Application Submission orders handled by Imran and the Grantaura team. Refund outcome depends on work already performed, client responsiveness, and whether the failure came from Grantaura or the applicant side.

Before work starts

Cancel within 24 hours and before work begins for a full cash refund.

If you are ineligible

If the assessment is completed and you are not eligible, the refund is reduced by the $5.99 assessment fee and Stripe processing fees.

After submission

Once the application has been submitted to the grantor, the service is non-refundable unless the failure was operationally ours.

Before refund issuance

Before issuing any refund, Grantaura will offer alternative eligible grants or dedicated grant research service. Refund processing continues only if those options are declined.

Client-delay boundary

If a deadline is missed because required documents, approvals, or portal access were not provided in time by the client, Grantaura is not responsible for that missed submission window.

Funding outcome boundary

Full Application Submission covers professional preparation and submission support. Grant decisions are made by the grantor, so an unsuccessful funding decision is not itself grounds for a refund.
