Eligibility:
– Must be a for-profit business operating in the United States.
– The business owner must be eighteen (18) years of age or older (nineteen (19) in Alabama and Nebraska) as of the application date.
– The business must have a demonstrated need for a commercial vehicle to run or grow its operations.
– The business must be established and have an existing product or service. (The grant is not for ideas or pre-revenue companies without a product/service).
– Businesses with 10 or fewer employees are eligible.
– Businesses with less than $5 million in annual gross revenue are eligible.
– Non-profit organizations are not eligible.
– Independent contractors for rideshare or food delivery services are not eligible.
– It is not a requirement to be a Progressive Insurance customer to apply.
– The business can be run on a part-time basis.

Terms:
– Commercial Vehicle Use: The vehicle purchased with grant funds must be used for business purposes, such as travel to perform services, delivery of products or goods, or transportation of materials or inventory. Used vehicles are eligible. Heavy trucks with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) over 26,000 lbs are not qualified.
– Boost Camp Program: Recipients are expected to participate in the 12-week virtual coaching program, committing approximately 1-2 hours per week. This includes attending virtual workshops, program sessions, networking, curriculum activities, and check-ins. Participants will complete the Business Health Score™ assessment and periodic surveys. The first session begins September 10, 2025.
– Selection Criteria: Applications will be evaluated based on:
— Demonstrated need for funds to purchase a commercial vehicle (40%)
— Clear plan for growth as a result of a vehicle purchase (40%)
— Demonstrated commitment to customers and community (20%)
– Application Notification: Applicants will be notified of their status via email. Grant recipients are expected to be notified in late August 2025.
