The awards are voted for by subscribers to GWI magazine, GWI WaterData, and the Water Desalination Report.

Focus: The Global Water Awards 2025 focuses on recognizing significant contributions to the water industry, including improved operations and energy efficiency, technological innovation, and the implementation of sustainable financial models. The outcomes of the nominated projects or initiatives must have been reported in 2024.

Eligibility:
– Nominations are open to everyone.
– Individuals or companies can nominate a company, project, plant, technology, deal, or initiative.
– Nominations must be submitted in English and can be made for oneself or others.
– Nominations must demonstrate a significant contribution to the water industry and highlight specific factors such as improved operations, energy efficiency, technological innovation, and sustainable financial models.
– The outcomes of the project or initiative must have been reported in 2024.
– Nominations must be submitted via the awards nomination forms available at the ‘Nominations Hub’ on the Global Water Awards website. Submissions via email will not be acknowledged, except for Chinese companies who may submit nominations via email to nominations@globalwaterawards.com.
