About: The Sage and BOSS Network Grant Program is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at empowering Black women entrepreneurs. This program, backed by a $1.5 million commitment from Sage over three years, provides critical funding and support to help Black women-led businesses thrive. The partnership between Sage, a global leader in accounting, financial, HR, and payroll technology, and The BOSS Network, an online community dedicated to supporting professional and entrepreneurial women, aims to address the systemic barriers faced by Black women entrepreneurs.

The program offers annual grants of $10,000 to selected entrepreneurs, along with a comprehensive 12-month mentorship and education program. This includes access to BOSS University, which provides business training courses, and a supportive online community. The goal is to equip these entrepreneurs with the resources and knowledge needed to build scalable, growth-oriented companies.

Black women are the fastest-growing demographic of entrepreneurs in the U.S., yet they face significant challenges in accessing capital and resources. The Sage and BOSS Network Grant Program is designed to tackle these inequalities head-on, providing not just financial support but also the mentorship and educational tools necessary for long-term success. By investing in these entrepreneurs, the program aims to foster a more inclusive and diverse business landscape, where Black women-led businesses can flourish and contribute to economic growth.

Terms:
-BOSS Impact Fund: The BOSS Impact Fund is a three-year, $1.5 million commitment via the Sage Foundation to support Black women-led businesses. It aims to raise investment funding for over 500 Black women entrepreneurs and prepare them to build scalable, growth-aggressive companies.
-BOSS University: A digital mentorship program that provides a comprehensive entrepreneurship curriculum to assist in long-term business growth. It includes quarterly business training courses and access to a supportive online community.
-Sage Business Cloud Accounting: A software provided complimentary to grant recipients to help manage finances, operations, and people.
