Donor: TiE Global (The Indus Entrepreneurs)
About: The TiE Women Program 2025 represents a transformative opportunity for women entrepreneurs seeking to elevate their businesses onto the global stage. This comprehensive initiative by TiE Global—the world’s largest network of entrepreneurs—goes beyond traditional pitch competitions by offering a holistic ecosystem of support designed specifically for female founders. The program embodies TiE’s commitment to embrace, engage, and empower women entrepreneurs worldwide, regardless of enterprise size, origin, or background.
What truly distinguishes the TiE Women Program is its unique six-pillar approach: Learning, Mentoring, Access to Funding, Scalability, Safe Space, and Community. This framework ensures participants receive multidimensional support tailored to the specific challenges faced by women business owners in today’s competitive landscape. The program’s structure facilitates a progressive journey through chapter-level competitions and mentoring before advancing to the global stage, providing valuable exposure at each step of the entrepreneurial process.
The 2025 competition follows a strategic timeline designed to maximize participant growth. Beginning with applications opening on March 1, 2025, and closing on June 15, 2025, selected entrepreneurs then engage in intensive chapter-level mentoring from June through September. This phase is followed by global knowledge sessions with industry experts from September through November, culminating in mock finals and the prestigious Global Finale at the TiE Global Summit in Jaipur, India (December 3-5, 2025). This carefully structured approach ensures that participants gain valuable skills and connections throughout the entire process, not just during the final competition.
Beyond the headline $50,000 in equity-free cash prizes, participants gain unparalleled access to TiE’s global network spanning 62 countries. This extensive community includes over 3,000 successful entrepreneurs, serial entrepreneurs, business leaders, and domain experts who provide mentorship and guidance throughout the program. The competition’s track record is impressive, having processed over 8,000 applications across 62 countries, accelerated more than 500 women-led startups, and facilitated mentoring for 800+ women entrepreneurs through its extensive network of 100+ mentors and experts. Additionally, previous participants have reported significant business development outcomes, including new customer acquisition, refined business models, and valuable connections through the program’s extensive network.
The TiE Women Program specifically targets female founders facing the widespread funding gap in entrepreneurship. Research shows that women-founded startups receive disproportionately less venture capital funding despite often outperforming male-led companies. The program addresses this imbalance by providing equity-free funding, meaning winners receive financial support without sacrificing ownership stakes in their companies. This approach is particularly valuable for women and minority entrepreneurs who statistically face greater challenges in securing traditional investment.
