About: The Black Business Support Fund Grant is designed to support black-owned entrepreneurs in the United States. This grant program provides funds on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible black-owned small businesses. The initiative aims to foster economic growth and development within the black entrepreneurial community by offering financial support and additional benefits to help businesses thrive.
The program is open to new or current small business customers within Kinetic by Windstream’s service area. Eligible businesses must be black-owned, have 25 or fewer employees, and not be engaged in bankruptcy proceedings. The grant excludes non-profit organizations and certain types of businesses such as wine and spirits, check-cashing agencies, gun shops, pawn shops, cannabidiol (CBD) stores, and adult entertainment businesses. Each applicant can only apply for one business and receive one award.
