About: The Rémy Martin This is My City Grant program represents a significant opportunity for creative entrepreneurs making a meaningful impact in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, or New York City. This initiative seeks to recognize and support emerging visionaries across various creative disciplines who are deeply committed to uplifting their local communities through their business endeavors.
With a focus on sustaining cultural vitality and fostering creative innovation, the program awards four exceptional creative entrepreneurs with substantial funding of $20,000 each. What distinguishes this grant opportunity is its dual-benefit approach, combining unrestricted financial support with invaluable one-on-one mentorship from established industry leaders. This comprehensive support system enables recipients to not only expand their business operations but also amplify their positive community impact.
The This is My City Grant specifically targets entrepreneurs operating businesses in music, visual arts, performance arts, design, creative services, cultural education, food and beverage, or other creative and cultural sectors. Eligible applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to their local community and present a clear, strategic plan for leveraging both the funding and mentorship components to achieve meaningful business growth.
Rémy Martin, a brand with a rich heritage in supporting creative excellence, has partnered with Hello Alice, a trusted resource for small business owners, to identify and elevate creative entrepreneurs who exemplify local leadership and innovation. The selection process evaluates applicants based on three key criteria: founder experience and commitment (30%), strategic plans for utilizing funds and mentorship to accelerate business growth (40%), and demonstrated commitment to local community engagement (30%).
Applications for the Rémy Martin This is My City Grant are being accepted through April 11, 2025, at 6 PM ET. Following the application period, submissions will undergo a comprehensive review process from April 14 to May 30, with grant recipients announced on June 2, 2025.
