About: Warrior Rising is dedicated to transforming veterans into successful entrepreneurs, known as “vetrepreneurs.” Launched in 2015, this non-profit organization provides a comprehensive support system to help veterans and their immediate family members create sustainable businesses and perpetuate the hiring of fellow veterans. The program offers a range of resources, including education, training, coaching, mentorship, and potential access to clients, investors, and funding opportunities.

Warrior Rising’s process begins with the Warrior Academy, a proprietary instruction program that builds on military training and experience. This academy translates military decision-making processes into business models and helps veterans understand the entrepreneurial mindset. The program includes video modules, narratives, and homework assignments to reinforce learning. Success in the Warrior Academy depends on the veteran’s commitment to the instruction and staying with it to the end.

Following the Warrior Academy, veterans have access to monthly coaching and Master Class sessions. These live-virtual calls provide opportunities for veterans to ask business questions and receive guidance from coaches and mentors. The Master Class sessions feature keynote speakers and breakout rooms with experts in various business fields.

Upon completing the Warrior Academy, veterans gain access to Warrior University, an advanced Veteran Business Accelerator Program. This eight-week virtual program is designed for veterans exploring entrepreneurship or already running small businesses. The program includes live online calls and recorded sessions for those who cannot attend live.

The final step is the Veteran Business Shower, where Warrior Rising and its partners provide grants, access to clients and investors, custom business suits, laptop computers, custom-built websites, search engine optimization, headshots, and professionally created marketing videos. Veterans must earn this opportunity by completing the Warrior Academy and Warrior University and submitting a pitch deck and video.

Warrior Rising’s support does not end with the Business Shower. Veterans can continue attending Coaching and Master Class sessions indefinitely and are encouraged to engage with Warrior Rising’s social media, newsletter, and in-person events.
