This page explains what happens after you pay, where merit matters most, when the live draw happens, and why the process stays visible from start to finish.

Nothing important is hidden in the timing.

1st – last day of each month
Applications stay open
This is when you complete your business profile, answer the Impact Response, clear eligibility, and secure your entry for the active round.
1st – 7th of the next month
Independent panel review
After the round closes, qualified applications move into review. This is the merit stage that shapes the shortlist before any draw takes place.
10th of each month – 7:00 PM ET
Live YouTube draw
Once the shortlist is locked, the main winner is drawn first. Then the two runners-up are drawn from the remaining eligible pool.
12th – 15th of each month
Verification and awards
Winners are contacted, confirmed, and processed during the published award window. Public records update after that work is complete.
The next round keeps moving
Momentum overlaps on purpose
While one round is being reviewed, drawn, and awarded, the next round can already be open. That overlap keeps the grant moving every month.

The Impact Response
This is the part where you explain the real bottleneck in your business and what winning would help you do next. Short is fine. Vague is not.
“What specific challenge is your business facing right now, and what would winning allow you to do about it in the next 90 days?”
What helps vs what hurts
Weak: Broad hopes, generic ambition, or no clear next step for the money.
Strong: One clear problem, one practical use of funds, and one believable near-term result.
C
Carry-forward is there so you do not start from zero
If your entry qualifies but is not drawn, it may continue into the next round. You still need a fresh Impact Response and a valid entry path for that new round.

The score is public before you pay.

The score line that moves an entry forward

Once the hard gates pass, applications at 91/100 or higher can move into review. The eligibility checker lets you see that line before you open checkout.
