UAF offers two main grant types: Security Grants and Opportunity Grants. Security Grants provide up to $8,000 to activists facing imminent risks to their safety and security, with a 3-month implementation period. Opportunity Grants, also up to $8,000, support time-sensitive advocacy initiatives aimed at raising awareness, influencing policy, or changing public discourse, with a 6-month implementation period.
